  • Receiving webhook notifications when new leads are created on Thumbtack.
  • Automatically sending pre-configured template messages to new leads.
  • Managing business communication through the Thumbtack messaging system.

2. Thumbtack API Usage

Our integration with the Thumbtack API is governed by the Thumbtack API Terms of Use. By using this Website, you acknowledge that:

  • All data received through the Thumbtack API remains subject to Thumbtack's terms and policies.
  • The Website processes Thumbtack data solely for the purpose of facilitating handyman service communication and lead management.
  • Automated messages sent via the Thumbtack API comply with Thumbtack's community guidelines and professional standards.
  • Thumbtack may revoke API access at any time, which would disable the automated response functionality.

3. Booking and Service Terms

  • Booking requests submitted through the Website are requests, not confirmed appointments. We will confirm appointments after reviewing availability.
  • Quoted prices are estimates. Final pricing will be determined based on the actual scope of work.
  • A minimum booking period may apply as specified in our service listings.
  • We reserve the right to decline any service request.
  • Cancellations should be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.

4. Customer Reviews

4a. SMS/Text Messaging Terms

By providing your phone number and explicitly checking the "I agree to receive SMS" consent checkbox on our booking form, or by directly contacting us via Thumbtack about your own job, you agree to receive service-related SMS (text) messages from SAM Service.

  • Consent: Your consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any services. You may engage our services without consenting to SMS communications.
  • Message Content: Messages will include appointment confirmations, service quotes, project updates, scheduling coordination, and follow-up communications related to your service requests.
  • Message Frequency: Message frequency varies. You may receive approximately 1–5 messages per service interaction.
  • Opt-Out: You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message. You will receive a one-time confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. No further messages will be sent unless you re-opt in.
  • Help: For help, reply HELP to any message or contact us using the information in Section 13.
  • Costs: Message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless carrier for details about your messaging plan.

  • Our total liability for any claims related to the Website shall not exceed the amount paid for services in the preceding 12 months.
